Mr. & Mrs. Potato Head

As you all know, my Monster turned 2, last week. His birthday party was Saturday morning. Last years theme was (fittingly) Monster related. This year we chose Mr. Potato Head. It’s 2+ and I was excited to get one:) The only problem is that, like the Monster theme, there aren’t many pre-made party things. No cups, or plates, or table clothes, or loot bags. Luckily I am pretty crafty, and also determined. I saw a photo of some fun loot bags, and made a variation. I think they turned out pretty good!

Ollie's 2nd Birthday 005 — First I made Tracers. If you have some drawing ability and a good eye, this is pretty easy. If not, you might be able to find a template online.

Ollie's 2nd Birthday 007 (2) — Trace out all the pieces you need.

Ollie's 2nd Birthday 009 — (Painstakingly) Cut out each piece. Your scissor wielding hand will be bruised by the end.

We filled them up with loot bag dress-up stuff. Pirate eye-patche’s, masks, funny sunglasses, crazy teeth. I think they were a success, and the Monster seemed to have a really good time:)
