2021 Gift Guides: The Kid One

OOoooooh! Y’all know what time it is? November Gift Guide time! You know I’ve already started combing through my favourite websites for the perfect holiday and birthday gifts. If you’re new here, G and J both have birthdays around the holidays so I’m deep into planning now. All that being said let’s start this year’s Gift Guides with ‘The Kids One’

Gift Guide: The Kids One

Something They Want: Lego! It never gets old and at least one (if not all) of the Buttons have a Lego set on their list every single year. Pro tip: take your kid’s skill level in to consideration. If you pick a set that too complicated for theme prepared to build it yourself! O is eyeing the Lego Minecraft <Dungeons> The Redstone Battle this year, but there are so many great options to choose from that cover many different nieces and age levels!

Something They Need: Indigo’s in house children’s decor brand, Mini Maison, has an adorable line of camping inspired pieces. If you’re looking to add a few new pieces to the playroom or bedroom this season these might be just the ticket. This bean bag chair bear looks like a great place to snuggle up with a nice storybook!

Something To Wear: ‘Tis the season for comfort! Two great Canadian brands, Hatley x Indigo, joined forces for this years crop of family jammies. There’s even a few for your furry friend too!

Something To Read: Follow Aaron on a creative journey as his imagination pours out on paper. If you have a budding creative on your hands, Andrea Beaty’s series is a great choice!

Stocking Stuffers:

G approved! Spot It is one of her favourite games so a Rudolph version is the perfect stocking stuffer for her.

It’s the perfect time to snag a few new art supplies before heading into the new year. Kid Made Modern doesn’t only make a sweet craft kit but also good quality markers, crayons, and gel pens.

Squishmallows are the only “squish” toys I buy. The squish is built into a plush exterior so it doesn’t rip apart on day one! The Buttons love them.

As the shopping season gears up I hope the sales and weather treat you right!
