I can’t believe my baby just became a toddler! It feels like it went so fast. Everyday he looks more and more like a little boy instead of a baby, with his own little facial expressions, and attitude!
Yesterday was his birthday party. I think everyone who came had a really good time! Having a party for a one year old is exhausting, which is ridiculous considering it’s three hours long and it’s mostly grown ups! Planning the party itself was simple enough, monster theme, cake, but getting people to simply rsvp without giving there two cents was another story! Note to all people: if you can’t come just say no! I don’t actually care that the time and day of my kids birthday party doesn’t work for you! You can let me know, but you can not complain, as if I’m just going to change it to cater to you. You may have weekends off, but we don’t! We work weekends, and quite frankly, it’s more important for his parents to be there:) All in all, though, he had fun and that’s what matters!
Another year of adventures for O is already underway! He’s so close to walking, he can get on and off the couch and bed all on his own, he can eat so much more stuff, and soon enough he will have a brand new sister or brother to play with! It’s going to be a fun and crazy year!
